Abstract
The concept of agility and the organizational and individual changes associated with it are clearly current issues of our time. Agile operation and agile thinking have become key competencies that can be considered the cornerstone of responding quickly and effectively to changes. Agility is crucial in managing unexpected events today, and supporting organizational culture is essential for success. The study presents an intercultural examination of the agile approach based on Hungarian and Arab samples. The primary research presented in the study revealed the effect of agile thinking and project orientation on the acceptance of the agile approach. The results show that Hungarian respondents identify more strongly with the agile approach than Arabs, which can be explained by cultural and organizational factors. The level of agile thinking significantly influences the acceptance of the agile approach in both samples. The study highlights the importance of an agile approach in a changing world and its intercultural aspects, showing the main development lines and paths for developing and strengthening competence.
