Introduction
The examination of quality management and related socio-economic processes plays a particularly important role today, as both the global and domestic environments are facing rapid and often turbulent changes that affect organizations, public policies, and economic actors. The current issue of Magyar Minőség (Hungarian Quality) presents research findings that capture the complex interrelationships between quality improvement, organizational functioning, and social welfare from both empirical and theoretical perspectives. A common feature of the published studies is that they interpret the concept of quality not merely as a technical or regulatory framework, but as a determining factor in sustainable development, efficiency, and people-centered operation.
The studies included in this issue cover a wide range of methodologies, from time series analysis of macro- and meso-level labor market processes to qualitative and quantitative approaches to organizational culture and employee satisfaction, to the dilemmas accompanying the digital transformation of the financial sector. The studies highlight that economic performance and social well-being cannot be separated from quality-conscious management, data-driven decision-making, and development trends that determine the flexibility and adaptability of the labor market. Of particular importance are research findings that examine the role of human factors—such as skills, competencies, financial and digital literacy—in corporate and institutional success.
The aim of the publication is to contribute to the expansion of the domestic professional discourse, supporting both the scientific community and practitioners in applying the principles of quality management in an innovative way that is adapted to the current challenges. We trust that the studies presented here will stimulate further research and deepen professional dialogue and knowledge sharing.
